Before diving into the world of Feldhawk Metal Window Well Covers, the first crucial step is determining the exact dimensions of your window well. Here's what you'll need:
Measuring Tape: A trusty measuring tape is essential for this task.
Two Measurements: You'll need to record two key measurements: width and depth.
Width: Measure the widest point of your window well from one end to the other.
Depth: Measure the vertical distance from the top edge of the window well (where the cover will sit) to the bottom (ie to the foundation of the home).
 
Selecting the Right Size Feldhawk Cover
Once you have your measurements, use them as a benchmark to select your Feldhawk Metal Window Well Cover. Here's a guiding principle:
Exact Match or Round Up: Ideally, choose a cover that closely matches the dimensions of your window well. However, if a perfect match isn't available, it's better to round up to the next closest size. 
Note: The aesthetic and shape differ from size to size (ie some designs have center spacers, others do not. Some measure at a 26" depth vs the pictured 38" depth. Note: this process works for most window wells. If you're unsure if our sizes will fit your well, request a sizing diagram on the size you think best matches your dimenions. If additional spacers are required to fit, they are available for purchase upon request.
